Boys, today we are starting a new topic in English Language.It is - SUBJECT PREDICATE. Boys you all know that a sentence is a group of words put together to make complete sense. In a sentence the words are divided into two parts - subject and predicate.Watch the video sent, open the link below.

19.5.20 Subject Predicate
*A subject is the person, place, or thing that the sentence is about.
*A predicate is the part of the sentence that tells about the subject. It contains the verb that tells about the subject.
Eg. 1. Tom likes to eat bananas.
In the sentence above:
Subject - Tom
Predicate - likes to eat bananas.
2. The tree is laden with flowers.
In the sentence above:
Subject - The tree
Predicate - is laden with flowers.
Circle the subject and underline the predicate in the following sentences:
a. My book is in my bag.
b. He broke the plate.
c. The pencils are very colourful.
