Boys, today you have a "Handwriting Competition" as mentioned in the School diary. So, please take a loose sheet and write the following lines from Chapter - 3 in English Literature "The
 Rhinos" very neatly in beautiful cursive writing. Keep the sheet safely in a folder with your name, class and section mentioned on it, you will be asked to present it when school opens.

4.5.2020           Handwriting Competition

'Since that day, people have been hunting and killing rhinos for their horn. After cutting off its horn, they let the rhino die and eaten by vultures, hyenas and other animals. People should know that there won't be any rhinos left if they go on killing us. But it is good to see people such as Ruth who take care of us and make life safer for us. To survive, we need more such people.'

A collective noun is a word used to name a group of people, animals or things.
Eg. 1. a school of fish
      2. a bouquet of flowers
      3. a bunch of keys/grapes
      4. a herd of elephants/cows
      5. a flock of birds, etc.

In the last class we learnt about Characteristics of plants, today we are going to learn about parts of a plant and the types of roots and their functions. So, please take out your Seasons Book and read pages 162, 163 and 164 with me. Keep your pointer finger on the book while reading and read aloud. Open the video sent by me.

*Know the meaning of the chapter and the glossary words.

Boys, today we are starting the new chapter in English Literature "The Rhinos". Take out your Seasons Book and open page no. 21 and read along with me. Keep your pointer finger on the book and read aloud. Understand the chapter and learn the pronunciation of the words in the chapter. Read the chapter again and learn the glossary words. Open the video given below for reading.
