Good morning dear students and parents, 9.4.2020
How are you my little soldiers? Am sure you all are trying to adjust with this new way of learning. It takes time to get tuned to new things, and the most wonderful quality is to adapt to a given situation, and I am confident you will.Your teacher too is trying to learn this new method of teaching. Let's all keep praying that the current situation gets back to normal soon and we are able to return to school. So, lets start with today's work with a positive mindset.
7:30 - 7:45 - Lets say the Lord's Prayer.
Heartfulness - Sit in a comfortable position, back straight and close your eyes. Now breathe in and out. Focus your mind on a calming segment of the beautiful nature , E.G.:- a stream , a flower etc.
Play any soothing music in the background.
7:45 - 7:55 - Do this AQAD question in your E.V.S notebook. Write the heading AQAD and the date.
Slowly blowing wind is called ________
o air o breeze o storm o wind
1st period - English Language
LO - *Know the rules of Alphabetical Order
* Arrange the words in correct Alphabetical Order
Boys you have learnt about rule 1 (look at the first letter of the words) and rule 2 (look at the second letter of the words) of the Alphabetical Order in Class 2. Now we are going to move further and learn about rule 3. Take out your English Language notebooks and do this work very neatly. Write C.W. 3 on the top right side.

2nd period - Hindi (Go to Mrs. Malagar's blog )
3rd period - Elocution (Go to Mrs. Guglani's blog)
4th period - Math
LO - *Sequence numbers correctly

*Skip count in 10's and 100's
Boys am sure you are learning about the "Thousands" place. You will get better slowly and gradually, just keep practicing by writing and saying the counting orally with your parents. Now take out your Math notebook and do this work neatly. Write C.W. 6 on the top right side.

5th period - Child Protection (Lets Respect Personal Space And Privacy)
LO - *Tell ways to respect others' personal space.
Personal space is your space in which no one can enter without your permission. It is your private space and others should respect and you too should do the same. It also means no one should touch you, as it can make you feel uncomfortable. But it does not refer only to a physical touch. It also means that you don't have to invade others' space. For example:1.Disturbing others in the classroom.
2.Taking things from others without asking etc.
Now watch these two videos.

New words for today :
1. invade - to enter so as to occupy
2. observe - to watch attentively
3. swift - moving very fast
Lets say the Lord's Prayer to end the day. HAPPY EASTER to you and your family. God bless and stay safe.
As you have a short break now, you can do this Math activity on Place Value along with your parents. Your parents will say a four digit number aloud and you will show that number using kidney beans or gram on the abacus made on paper. You can also practice writing Number Names simultaneously. For practice you can do with kidney beans but do make a final one using stick on bindis or small colored paper circles which you will stick on colored paper to make it look bright. Then stick the activity page in your Math notebook with the heading PLACE VALUE ACTIVITY and the date. The picture below will help.
