Good morning dear students and parents,                       8.4.2020

Hope you all are doing fine and taking good care of yourselves and others in the family? Am sure you have completed yesterday's tasks. Lets start off with today's work, my boys. Hope you're ready with all the study material required.

7:30 - 7:45 - Lets say the Lord's prayer.

Heartfulness - Take a comfortable position, close your eyes and breathe in and out and watch your breath. Play the music in the background given in the link.

7:45 - 7:55 - Do this AQAD question in the rough notebook.
Choose the correct synonym ( words similar in meaning ) for the following word:
KIND
o lazy     o tired    o thoughtful       o big

1st period - E.V.S.
Recap - Now you know about natural and man - made things. Quickly name 2 of each. You also know about the features of living things. Tell any 2 features orally to your parents.
LO - *Tell 3 differences between plants and animals.
        *Choose the correct option.
Do this work neatly in the E.V.S. notebook and write C.W.3 on the top right side.
                                 

2nd period - Computer ( Go to Mrs. Bhasin's / Mrs. Arora's link )

3rd period - Indian Music ( Go to Shahnawaz Sir's link )

4th period - English Language

LO - *Read and understand the passage.

        *Choose the correct option and write the answers. 

Open your English Language notebook and do this work neatly, write the heading "ASSET COMPREHENSION".

Read the Asset passage on "Orangutans" very carefully and then answer the questions based on it. NOTE - Please do not write the passage in the notebook, write only the question and the correct option.

5th period - Hindi ( Go to Mrs. Malagar's link )

6th period - Math 

Recap - We learnt about the Thousands place yesterday. Did the video link help? Now say any 4 numbers in thousands to your parents. What is the smallest 4 digit number? Tell it orally to your parents.

LO - *Write the place value for the digits in ones, tens, hundreds and thousands place.

        *Expand the number bothways.

Now open your Math notebook and do the following work neatly and write C.W. 5 on the top right corner.

7th period - Math

Do Ex. 1.1   sum no. 1 in the Seasons Book.

8th period - Writing

Write the first paragraph of the L- Living and Non - Living Things in the English Literature notebook ( starting from - When we look..... to ..... other natural things.)

Now we come to the end of the day.

New words for today:

1. nurse - a person trained to take care of the sick people.

2. interval - the time in between.

3. collar - the part of an upper garment ( a shirt ), that fits around the neck.

Lets say the Lord's Prayer to end the day.
