Boys, take out your English Language notebooks/loose sheets and write 5 - 6 creative sentences on the picture given below. The words below the picture like - clown, ringmaster and motorcyclist will help in framing sentences. Write the heading "Picture Composition" and the date.

Boys, today do sum no. 4 on page 93 (part b - f ) in your Seasons book. The numbers are in three rows,  but the method of adding the digits remains the same. Start from the ONES column only.

*Do the addition activity - "The Addition Wheel"

Boys, today I am asking you to do this fun Math activity. Follow the sample given below. The activity is on Addition, the topic that we are doing in Math.
*Take a coloured paper and cut a circle of 3 inches diameter.
*Make a smaller circle inside and write the no. 2645 in it.
*Divide the circle into 8 sections as shown.
*Write the sums given in each section.
*Do the sums and if the answer matches the no. in the center, colour that section with a light coloured crayon.
*Stick the activity page in the Math copy with the date and the heading. ENJOY.

Boys, take out your English Literature notebooks and write the following lines neatly. Write the heading "Writing Practice" and the date. After completing the writing, you can make a Red Cross.

 Each year on May 8, the world commemorates World Red Cross Day since 1948 by organizing activities around the theme - "together for humanity". World Red Cross falls on the birthday of Noble laureate Sir Henry Dunant of Switzerland, the founder of the Red Cross. In 1984, it became World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.
